How The Grinch Stole Texas

Welcome to Whoville, Texas.
Where, somehow,
the Grinch stole state symbols.
And so together,
we’ll take back Texas treasure.
Then, we’ll do what typical
Whos in Whoville typically do:
read stories, drink hot cocoa,
and, joyfully, grinch.

FridayDecember20

Time: 9:00am to 1:00pm.
Ages: Entering Pre-K to 2nd grade.
Storyline: As is his way, the Grinch has
traveled around Texas and — in keeping with
his Grinchiness — he’s stolen state symbols.
STEAM Activities: Experiments,
crafts, songs, and games.
Grinchified Activities: Mysteries to solve.
And scavenger hunts to hunt for clues.
Bring: Lunch and water bottles.
Enjoy: Holiday hot chocolate and treats.
Where: St. Matthew’s kinder classroom.
Note: Each camp is unique and original :)
Space: Limited. Sign up now.
Cost: $90 per camper. Includes supplies,
Whoville treats, and a Grinch goody bag.

MondayDecember23

Time: 9:00am to 1:00pm.
Ages: Entering Pre-K to 2nd grade.
Storyline: Oh no, the Grinch came back
for a second trip to Texas and — ‘cause he’s
forever Grinchy — he’s stolen more state stuff.
STEAM Activities: Entirely new
experiments, crafts, songs, and games.
Get-The-Grinch Activities: Even more mysteries
to solve and scavenger hunts to, well, scavenge.
Bring: Lunch and water bottles.
Enjoy: Holiday hot chocolate and treats.
Where: St. Matthew’s kinder classroom.

FAQ

Drop-Off and Pick-Up.
Drop-off at playscape 8:45 - 9:00.
Pick-up at playscape 12:45 - 1:00.
Lunch. Please bring your own lunch —
lunch time is scheduled from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.
Details. Info will be emailed to you 1 week prior to camp.
Nuts. For the respect of all, my camps are nut-free.
Allergies. Please be forthcoming with food allergies,
allergens, and medical conditions — especially if you’re
signing up for a camp that involves, you know, cooking.
Conduct. All participants in my camps are to conduct
themselves with kindness and respect. Repeated disruptive
behavior may result in dismissal from camp without refund.
Cancellations. Camp cancellation/refund requests
should be emailed to [email protected].
Refunds. For requests received at least 14 days before
camp begins, your full payment will be refunded —
less a $25 processing fee. Refunds will not be issued
for requests received less than 14 days in advance of
the camp start date. Except, of course, for emergencies.
